If installation does not start on its own after inserting the Disc/Disc 1 in the drive, install the game manually: 1) Insert the Disc in your disc drive. 2) Go to your Start Menu Computer (or My Computer in Windows XP). 3) Find the CD or DVD drive that contains the disc. In my house The Sims is the game to play. We all spend hours creating the perfect Sim, trying to make them look like each other and even building a house to look like ours. Install Sims 3 Without Disc

Since we play a lot of video games, but since two of our computers are Macs, we figured out how to play PC games on a Mac, too!
The first thing you need to do is to Bootcamp your Mac. This isn't some silly workaround. Apple actually has instructions for how to bootcamp your Mac on their website and the software is already installed on your computer. So you don't need to worry about security and all that.
We bought a copy of The Sims™ 4 at Wal-Mart in their PC gaming section.
We were so excited to install, I barely even got a picture of it before it got ripped away from me! HAH!
Sims 4 Disk Install Problem
Once you've set up you Mac to to boot in Windows mode, just hold down control and start your computer! Click the drive you named 'Windows' and your Mac will boot up in Windows mode so you can play The Sims™ 4!
Install the game according to the instructions on the insert inside the game.
