Hi, This probably seems like a silly question but I cannot figure out how to udpate my SIms 4. I have no idea where to go to update it. Is it in the actual game or when I login to Origin. Someone please help. Thank you in advance.

If you save your game before re-enabling the Custom Content, content may be removed from your saved game. Visit the Mod creator's site to verify that the Mod works with the latest The Sims 4 Update. Check to see if there is an updated version of the Mod.
- So the game was updating a few times at 1st and it kept like stopping and now my Sims game I can't as like a weird paper thing with blue on it but that does matter I can still play the game but every time I load it up like those like llama pictures everywhere for the deal sea images and then what I load up the game it has like a question mark on the sims head.
- Exit the game and then add back the 'options.ini' file and the 'saves', 'screenshots' 'tray' 'custom music ' and 'mods' folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders, testing after replacing each one to see how the game is working.
- Nov 16, 2020 The Sims 4's latest update brought lots of new things to the tableincluding crashes. Many players have reported their game causing weird sound glitches just moments before the game instantly crashes and shuts down. The issue is most persistent among PC and PS4 players, although some Xbox players have also reported that their game crashes.
The recent update to The Sims 4 base game, ahead of the Snowy Escape expansion pack, is causing a few issues for players on both PC and console.
Updates of this nature have the tendency to be disruptive to mods as well as vanilla games and this one was no different. This is why it is always a good idea to back up your files before you update your game.
Most mods have been updated already, but even players who do not have CC or mods have reported that they are experiencing issues with their games crashing after the November 2020 patch.
Sims 4 team working on crashing issues after November update
The issue was acknowledged by Sim Guru Nick on Wednesday. He wrote on Twitter:
Hi Simmers, I just wanted to acknowledge the excessive crashing that's happening for a lot of people, our team is investigating. [Here is a] bug report thread (check the first post), please share your own experiences and save files, thanks so much!
Note that the link above is for PC reports. Check the first post though, and there are links available to threads for other platforms. We know PS4 players are crashing a lot and we could really use your save files. Sorry for the trouble and thanks for the help 🙂
It goes without saying that you should start off by removing all your mods and CC – if you use them – and making sure these files are all up to date before slowly adding them back in. If that does not work, you could try some of the other common fixes, like clearing your game's cache files.
What to try: Clear The Sims 4 cache
Navigate to your game files – usually located at Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/ on both PC and Mac. Fl studio 10 full version gratis.
1. Delete the localthumbscache.package file in this directory.
2. Go inside the cache folder and delete all files that end in .cache. Ayyappa devotional songs 123musiq com. DO NOT delete the actual directory.
You can also delete all the files in the cachestr folder, but don't delete the folder itself. Deleting the spotlight.package file is okay. Angry birds space 2 0 1.
Free audio recorder. Once you've done this try to start the game load the save file that's causing the Sims 4 to crash.
If this fixes the problem, you can slowly start adding your mods and custom content back. If the problem resurfaces, then then there might be an issue with your mods or CC and you need to update these.
Console players have been reporting that their games are still crashing, however. If you have followed all the steps to clear your game cache and try a new save file, report the Sims 4 crashing issue on EA Answers HQ for further assistance.
